September 7, there was a hit and run accident at the intersection of 37th & L Streets in Ft. Smith. According to police, a blue Chevy Silverado collided with a beige Chevy Trailblazer when one of the vehicles ran a stop sign. Before officers arrived, the driver of the Trail- blazer and a passenger, fled the scene in another vehicle.
The passengers of the Chevy Trailblazer are being sought by police. The driver of the Chevy Silverado received minor injuries and was transported to a hospital. There was one passen- ger who was uninjured.
