Deputies Search For Suspect In Trailer Theft

Sebastian County deputies are searching for the person who stole a trailer which contained auto parts worth $20,000.  On Saturday, May 30, the owner parked his trailer on the Arkan- sas side of a Choctaw Casino parking lot.  He stayed in the hotel overnight.  According to a news release, it was stolen during the night and reported the next morning.

A suspect driving an older model, fadded-red Ford F-150 pickup truck was seen on surveil- lance footage driving off pulling the trailer.  It was discovered by deputies that the truck had been stolen.  It has a plywood tailgate with pvc pipes sticking out of the bed.  The tag num- ber is Arkansas 135 DDR.  The stolen trailer was found in Pocola near the Arkansas border at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, empty.
