Hackett Man Arrested For Choking Walmart Employee

Richard Maciel of Hackett was arrested Wednesday, June 3.  Maciel, 23, is accused of chok- ing a Greenwood Walmart employee to the point of unconsciousness.  The Greenwood Police Department said the incident took place at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2.  The victim, who is a loss prevention employee, spoke with officers.  However, the name of the victim was not re- leased.  

Maciel was booked into the Sebastian County Detention Center.  He faces charges of robbery and aggravated assault.
