120-Plus Ft. Smith Teachers Receive Grants

The Fort Smith Public Schools Foundation, an independent, nonprofit corporation, gave out individual grants of up to $1,000 last week.  The education grants totaled over $65,000.  The recipients were more than 120 Fort Smith teachers.  Mini-grants were given to 110 of those, with the rest of the teachers receiving specialized scholarship funds.

The event was sponsored by the Fort Smith Regional Council at the MovieLounge EpiCenter.
