26 year-old Anthony Sirmon of Crawford County is facing charges of suspicion of aggravated assault. According to an arrest report, he went to a house in the 4800 block of Red Hill Road in Alma and proceeded to take the victim's car keys. Sirmon, who was intoxicated at the time, then attempted to leave in the woman's vehicle.
The victim jumped into the car and tried to get the keys out of the ignition. Sirmon accel- erated, causing the woman to be thrown out of the vehicle and into a wooden fence post. The report stated she was not taken to the hospital. The incident was witnessed by a neigh- bor.
