Bear Cub Stuck In Tree In Greenwood

Monday a little after 12 p.m. on Dogwood Street in Greenwood, Denise Hurd saw a black bear cub in her backyard.  The cub was stuck in a tree.  It was decided by Myron Means, with the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, that to tranquilize the bear with a dart gun was the best strategy.

The cub was set free just south of Booneville.
