Arkansas State Police Hold Awards Ceremony

The Arkansas State Police held their annual awards ceremony last week.  A news release from the Arkansas State Police stated that distinguished meritorious service awards were received by Corporal Olen Craig and Corporal Dwight Lee, both of the Arkansas State Police Division, Troop H in Ft. Smith.

According to the release, Lee removed 558 impaired drivers from the highway between 2011-2014 by arresting them.  Craig, a 33-year veteran of the Arkansas State Police, has seized a record amount of illegal narcotics that were being shipped across the state.  In- cluded was 342 lbs of cocaine, 7 lbs of heroin, more than 5.5 tons of marijuana, 36 lbs of methamphetamine and over $2 million in cash.
