Fatal Crash In LeFlore County

At approximately 10 a.m. Monday morning on Oklahoma 271, a roll-over accident took place, killing two people.  According to Lieutenant Eddie Bohanan, a 2008 Dodge pickup truck head- ing west, was stopped waiting to make a left turn, when a 2007 Impala ran into the pickup, knocking it into the path of an eastbound semi.

The driver of the Dodge, Joe Waddle 68 and Debra Waddle, his passenger, both of Shady Poi- nt, were pronounced dead at the scene.  26 year-old Andrea Callahan of Wister, the driver of the Impala, was taken to Sparks Hospital with leg injuries.  A four month-old girl that was with Callahan, was treated and released to family on the scene.
