Update: Body Of 19 Year-old Found

Friday afternoon, the body of 19 year-old Skylar Combs of Alma was found.  Authorities said Combs was found near the low water bridge at the Grotto Swimming Hole by a farmer who had volunteered in the search.

The drowning took place Monday afternoon, May 11, when Combs and two friends were going swimming in the Frog Bayou near Rudy.  He slipped into the water to swim, at which time he went under, but never came back up.

Over one hundred people were involved in the search, going over approximately fifteen to twenty river miles.
