Cameron Bowden of McCurtain, OK, a suspect in approximately twenty burglaries, was a- rrested Thursday along with Jessica Conley. Bowden and Conley, both 26, were spotted at Sunset Corner in Spiro yesterday around noon by Kendall Morgan, LeFlore County Under- sheriff and Tyler Ragan, Deputy.
Conley was putting gas in a gold Pontiac Grand AM, when she saw the patrol car pull in. She, at that time, stopped pumping gas and got into the Grand AM with Bowden, who was driv- ing. Morgan rammed the vehicle when he saw Bowden was not going to stop. Ragan pro- ceeded to get out of the car, at which time he sprayed Bowden with pepper spray, causing him to stop the car.
Both suspects were placed into custody. According to the LeFlore County Sheriff's Office, a loaded gun, along with methamphetamine, were discovered in the suspects' vehicle. Bowden and Conley are in the LeFlore County Detention Center, awaiting a bond hearing today.
