Man Arrested For Kidnapping Ex-Wife In Sebastian Co

Clifton Conzley, 30, has been arrested by Sebastian County deputies.  Conzley is accused of kidnapping his ex-wife.  According to a news release, the Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 regarding a kidnapping.  The call came from Ron's Convenience Store located in south Ft. Smith.

Upon arrival, they were told by a woman that her ex-husband, Conzley, had forced her to leave the store and get into his vehicle.  A bystander saw what was happening and chased them.  Conzley went back to the store after noticing they were being followed.  The release stated the woman was able to escape safely.

Conzley was found at a house in Ft. Smith.  He was then arrested.  The woman said she feared for her life and was not sure what Conzley was capable of doing.
