Additional Acreage Wanted For Medical College

An additional 77 acres at Chaffee Crossing is being sought for the future Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine.  This is in addition to the 200 acres of land that was donated.

The entity set up under The Degen Foundation to run the college is Arkansas Colleges of Health Education.  CEO of the entity, Kyle Parker, stated the added acreage would give opportunities for outdoor recreation, as well as offer a buffer for the college.

The Foundation is offering $400,000 for the 77 acres.
