On July 18, an opening reception for the Goldman Hotel Exhibit will be hosted by the Fort Smith Museum of History. It will be held at the museum located at 320 Rogers Ave beginning at 1 p.m. The event will give an opportunity to area residents and visitors to see artifacts from one of Ft. Smith's cornerstone hotels.
A reproduction of a mural of the hotel lobby and photographs, along with other pieces of the hotel's history, will be featured at the reception. The Goldman Hotel, located at the corner of Garrison Ave and N. 13th Street, opened on February 1, 1910.
