Memorial Run Held For Shooting Victim

The memorial run held Saturday, July 18 in honor of Brent Morrison, had over 100 runners participate.  Morrison, 44, was shot and killed while running on Wells Lake Road on July 11.  The suspect is 24 year-old John Paul Suleski.

The event was organized by the group Western Arkansas Runners.  Orange balloons were released from the same area where Morrison was killed.  Dianne Morrison, his wife, hopes   to turn the memorial run into an annual event.  She has plans to raise money to build more trails.
