John Kent Spradlin, a Sebastian County Justice of the Peace, was arrested early Tuesday morning. According to a news release from the Sebastian County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, Spradlin, 59, was arrested on suspicion of felony, first degree terroristic threatening and felony aggravated assault on a minor family member.
Spradlin and the minor relative had gotten into an altercation earlier in the evening, after which the relative filed a domestic battery report against him. According to jail records, Spradlin bonded out of the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center at 12:28 a.m. Tuesday. He has a court date set for Thursday, July 9th.
