The former home of Riverside Furniture located at 301 S. 'E' Street will hopefully be the future home of the Riverview Hope Campus. On July 17, the Old Ft. Homeless Coalition finalized the $603,000 purchase of the estimated 127,500 sq ft building and lot. Approx- imately 30,000 sq ft of the facility will be remodeled.
It will be done in three phases over the next few years. The facility will include seventy-five low-barrier beds, a worship center and on-site medical and mental services. The coalition is hoping to break ground in September, with plans to open the campus next summer.
