Wednesday, July 15, a mobile office will be set up in Van Buren by the staff of Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge. It will be located at the Van Buren Municipal Complex at 1003 Broadway from 2-4 p.m. It is one of six to be placed in the state. The mobile offices will assist constituents who are having consumer issues and help them file consumer complaints against scam artists.
According to a news release from the Attorney General's office, staff will be available to answer questions about the office and other services it offers to constituents. The mobile offices were created by Rutledge so members of the public who reside outside of Little Rock could have access to the office. For more information about the Attorney General's Office, you can go to www.arkansasag.gov or call 501-682-2007.
