Issues Approved By Ozark Voters

There were three issues approved by voters in Ozark in a special election.  A 1% sales tax was approved in a 213-120 vote.  It will finance two construction projects totaling $10 million.  Authorization to issue bonds for the financing of a $7 million recreational facility was a second issue.  It was passed with a vote of 214-119.  Approved by a vote of 205-127, the third allows bonds to be issued to fund a $3 million emergency services building.  It will have space for offices for the Police and Fire Departments and a place to store equipment.
