New Group Promotes Unity

A new group in Ft. Smith called Together Ft. Smith, held a Back to School Bash Sunday at Creekmore Park.  There were several hundred residents that attended the group's first community event.  The purpose of the festivities was to promote unity.

Sherman O'Neal and Marcus Thompson are the group's founders.  Together Ft. Smith started as a Facebook idea.  They are hoping to incorporate as a nonprofit organization.
