Over 125 campsites around Beaver Lake are flooded for the second time in less than a month. This one comes after rain fell from Tropical Depression Bill. The Horseshoe Bend campground has been hit the hardest, according to Army Corps of Engineers Park Ranger Alan Bland. Many campers were forced to move out.
Often campsites have to be closed due to sanitary reasons regarding grills being covered by floodwaters, as well as safety issues with electric.
