Even though the Music on the Mulberry festival was organized in only twelve days, there were hundreds of people who attended this past weekend. It was put together by country singer Lance Carpenter after the Thunder on the Mountain music festival was cancelled.
Included in the twenty-four bands that performed were Back Road Anthem, Keith Anderson and Ricochet. Carpenter said among those attending were music scouts sent by a major Nashville artist to watch and listen to the performers who are not already signed by a re- cording company.
According to Carpenter, he is considering putting on the event next year. He said he wants to keep it the size it is in order to give the festival goers that "one on one intimate feeling."
