Summer Feeding Program Offered By Van Buren School

The Van Buren School District is providing a free summer feeding program.  It offers kids a free breakfast and lunch over the summer months.  To qualify, kids must be under 18 years old and live in the Van Buren School District.  Adults may eat also at the cost of $2.50 for breakfast and $3.50 for lunch.

Meals will be served at two locations:  Central Elementary and the Boys & Girls Club.  The times the meals will be served are:  breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., with lunch be- ing served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday until July 31st.  The program helps kids and adults to get a nutritious meal, but also helps low income families across the area on their grocery bill.
